For the participant

In the project, interview material will be collected from people participating in the mentoring program and their close work community, and two larger surveys will be carried out in the network of the FICAN West. Participation in the mentoring program does not automatically require participation in the study.

On this page you can find the data protection notice of the research project (NOTICE OF RESEARCH_mentoring).

In the research project, the material is processed and stored in accordance with the instructions and is only used by the project’s researchers. In the reporting, it is ensured, for example, that the participants in the study are not identifiable at any stage of reporting the results. The research follows the instructions of the Research Ethics Advisory Board. In addition, the University of Turku’s own research ethics committee gives clear guidelines regarding the collection, storage, and analysis of data. These include e.g. written permissions from research subjects and a data use plan. At TYKS, the Turku Clinical Research Center (CRC) guides and grants permits for health research, including the opinions of the ethics committee.

In the research project, members of the network of the FICAN West are openly informed about the conduct of the research and the voluntary nature of participating in it. Adherence to the aforementioned research ethics guidelines and principles guarantees that research ethics perspectives are comprehensively taken into account in the project.
