Intelligent Work Machines Programme visits our lab

This week, Smart Systems welcomed a group of researchers from the Intelligent Work Machines Programme, representing Aalto University, LUT University, Tampere University, the University of Oulu, and the University of Turku, to our lab in Tierankatu.

Prof. Wallace Moreira Bessa introduced the research activities carried out in the lab, while Carlos Cueto Zumaya presented his work on 3D scene graphs and Amos Alwala shared his research on sensor fusion and intelligent control.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss ongoing research, and explore connections between our work in intelligent robotics, perception, and autonomous systems.
