FIMA – SIX Mobile Work Machine Results Seminar 2025

Today, Smart Systems took part in the FIMA & SIX Mobile Work Machine Results Seminar 2025, which brought together industry and research institutions to discuss the future of mobile machinery in Finland.

The seminar covered key topics such as new research roadmaps, industry-research collaboration, and how companies can benefit from academic results.

As part of the University of Turku, we presented our roadmap for mobile work machines, incorporating the expertise of colleagues from the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering and the Department of Computing. This contributed to discussions on the challenges and opportunities in the field.

It was a good opportunity to connect with colleagues from both industry and academia and to exchange ideas on advancing research in mobile work machines.
