Underwater robotics

This week at the Smart Systems Lab we got the visit of three colleagues from the Institute of Mechanics and Ocean Engineering (Hamburg University of Technology, Germany): Dr.-Ing. Marc-André Pick, Dr.-Ing. Daniel Dücker and Nathalie Bauschmann, M.Sc.

They talked about the work being done by the group in the area of underwater robotics. Their research is really impressive! We also took the opportunity to discuss future cooperation in this area.

The Institute of Mechanics and Ocean Engineering is led by Prof. Robert Seifried and has a strong research focus in the areas of flexible multibody dynamics, active systems, machine learning and underwater robotics.
