WiS2 – Women in Smart Systems

Yesterday, five women from Smart Systems | University of Turku came together for the first meeting of WiS2 (Women in Smart Systems): a new initiative to promote connection, support, and long-term actions to empower women in our field.

Their vision is to build a strong support network within our group while gradually expanding the efforts to inspire the next generation of women in smart systems, robotics, and mechanical engineering.

Their idea is to keep these gatherings casual and engaging, exploring different activities along the way. This is just the beginning!
