S-MAT Team Contributes to the MATSUS26 Conference
Researchers from our group had participated in the Materials for Sustainable Development Conference (MATSUS26) in Barcelona. The conference brought together leading scientists working at the interface of materials science and sustainability, providing an excellent platform for presenting research and strengthening international collaborations.
Prof. Jovana V. Milić delivered two invited lectures on layered lead-free halide perovskite materials and their relevance in neuromorphics during the sessions dedicated to “From halide perovskites to perovskite-inspired materials – Synthesis, Modelling and Application” and “Low-Dimenisonal Halide Perovskites – Exploring Unique Challenges and Opportunities” and she chaired a session on perovskite-inspired materials. In addition, Prof. Milić was interviewed for the MATSUS 10-year anniversary video, reflecting on the evolution of the conference series and its impact on the sustainable materials research landscape.
Senior Researcher Dr. Mohammad Golobostanfard had also delivered a talk on “Layered Double Perovskite Materials for Neuromorphic Computing”, sharing recent research results and engaging in discussions with peers from academia and research institutions across the globe.
Beyond the formal programme, MATSUS26 served as a valuable forum for networking and meeting colleagues and collaborators, helping advance ongoing collaborations and explore opportunities for new research initiatives.
