Research Visit to Tampere University Strengthens Solar Cell Collaboration

In the end of March, 2026, our senior researcher Dr. Mohammad Reza Golobostanfard, postdoctoral researcher Dr. Ceylan Doyranli, and doctoral researcher Maryam Ghasemi visited Prof. Paola Vivo’s Hybrid Solar Cells (HSC) Laboratory at Tampere University, Finland.

The visit focused on strengthening ongoing collaboration in the fabrication of solar cell devices based on halide layered double perovskites, an emerging and promising materials platform for next-generation photovoltaic technologies. Through technical discussions and laboratory exchanges, the teams explored new directions for joint research and device development.

The visit concluded with a research seminar by Dr. Golobostanfard entitled “Double-Junction Perovskite/Silicon Heterojunction Tandems and Beyond.” The talk attracted attendees from the University of Turku, Aalto University, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, highlighting strong national interest in advancing high-efficiency photovoltaic systems.
