EIC Portfolio

STIMULUS is part of the European Innovation Council’s (EIC) Healthcare Continuum Portfolio. The portfolio involves nine EU-funded projects pioneering wearable and implantable sensors for continuous, real-time health monitoring.

The Healthcare Continuum portfolio is a major initiative of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pathfinder Challenge. It seeks to fundamentally transform healthcare, shifting from an episodic, symptom-triggered model to a continuous, proactive system. This strategic transformation aims to integrate unobtrusive, continuous health monitoring technologies with proactive diagnostic and treatment approaches. At the core of this vision is the development of novel, non-intrusive sensor solutions that enable life-long health status monitoring and support predictive medicine.
