Language recordings

On the first tier are languages that are most at risk of disappearing and for which the main objective is preservation. Stories will be collected from speakers of the languages about personally important topics, as well as those of folkloric and cultural historical significance. Particular focus will be on experiences and stories about Finnish missionaries and development cooperation, as well as memories related to books, reading and writing. No pre-packaged questions will be used to collect stories, but speakers will be invited to freely share their memories on the given topics.
