Hands-on laser welding and safety training Workshop

24.10.2025 09:00 - 12:00

In the realm of advanced manufacturing, laser welding has emerged as a pivotal technique that combines efficiency and precision. As industries increasingly adopt this technology, understanding the associated safety protocols is paramount. The ’Hands-on Laser Welding and Safety Training Workshop’ aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in laser welding while emphasizing safe practices.

The workshop will feature a comprehensive agenda, including an overview of the VADILA (laser safety project) by Professor Antti Salminen, insights into laser welding activities at UTU, a critical discussion on safety protocols in handheld laser welding by Saeid Parchegani Chozaki, and live demonstrations of handheld laser welding techniques.

The webinar is free of charge. However, we require registration in advance.
