AIM-E Students’ Exhibition 2026
On 22 April 2026, the University of Turku proudly hosted the second Automation, Industrial Engineering and Management, and Mechanical Engineering (AIM-E) Open-House Exhibition in collaboration with DemoDay 2026. Held in the Natura lobby from 09:00 to 11:00, the event marked an important milestone in promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and showcasing the wide range of innovation and research within the AIM-E disciplines.
The event welcomed faculty members, staff, university guests, and high school students from across Southwest Finland, creating a dynamic environment for academic exchange and community engagement. Among the distinguished guests were Rauno Mattila and representatives from Mattilan Säätiö
The exhibition featured an impressive collection of student-led projects from Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programmes, highlighting creative solutions and emerging technologies across the engineering fields. Visitors had the opportunity to engage directly with the students, gaining valuable insight into the technical and innovative processes behind their work. The success of the exhibition was made possible through the valuable support and dedication of faculty and staff members throughout both the planning and implementation of the event.
