The workshop examines current challenges and solutions for renovating medieval church spaces to meet the needs of modern congregations and communities. In the workshop, we discuss examples from the renovation project of the Turku Cathedral and medieval churches in the UK with our special guest, Dr. Nigel Walter, Director of Archangel Architects. The workshop is organised by the Centre for the Study of Christian Cultures (CSCC) and the Turku Cathedral Congregation. The workshop is intended for academic researchers, parish personnel and experts involved in the renovation project of the cathedral.
