Summer School in Social Science Methods 2025

In August 2025 Julia Matveeva attended the Summer School in Social Science Methods 2025 in Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) in Lugano. She took a course “An Introduction to Bayesian Methods for the Social Sciences.”

The course covered the basics of Bayesian methods and how to apply them in social sciences. The main focus was on linear models and their interpretation in a Bayesian context.

Matveeva learnt new practical skills she is planning to use in her upcoming paper.
