15th Annual Conference of the 19th Century Research Network

Kati Launis and Julia Matveeva attended the 1800-luvun tutkimuksen päivät -event (Days of 19th Century Research) arranged by the 19th Century Research Network in Turku, January 29-30.

Julia Matveeva presented research “Sukupuolen ja kirjallisuuslajin yhteyksien kvantifiointi 1800-luvun kotimaisessa kirjallisuudessa”, which examines literary genres and gender in 19th century Finnish literature with quantitative methods.

Kati Launis held a keynote speech on Finnish 19th century literature, the Great Unread, and forgotten women of the literary field under the title “Miten kertoa kirjallisuushistoriaa? Suomi, 1800-luku ja suuri lukematon”.
