Mini-publics

Deliberative mini-publics are a form of citizen participation and deliberative democracy. Their aim is to bring together a diverse group of people, who seek to establish common solutions to a specific question on the decision-making agenda through discussion and deliberating on multiple viewpoints.

During 2021-2024 FACTOR project organizes three regional mini-publics in different parts of Finland. The mini-publics will deal with local climate measures and their fairness. In addition, one nation-wide mini-public regarding the Climateguide.fi website will be organized. More information about the forthcoming mini-publics will be published on this site in the near future.
