Travel Information

The symposium will be held in Turku, a bustling medieval city in southwestern Finland. Located some 165 km west of Helsinki, Turku is within easy reach from the capital.

By Plane

Turku Airport (http://www.finavia.fi/airports/airport_turku ) has direct connections to Helsinki, Stockholm, Riga, and Gdansk. The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) from the city center. The city center can be reached from the airport either by bus (bus line 1 to Market Square, or “Kauppatori” in Finnish) or by taxi.
