Welcome to new group member
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Yukai Shen to the Memristor & Neuromorphic Computing group. He recently obtained his Ph.D. in Mixed-Signal Circuit Design from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, where he was a Marie Curie Scholar in collaboration with Infineon Austria. He also holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from TU Dresden and a Bachelor of Science from Xidian University.
His expertise spans the full spectrum of IC design, from high-level system modeling to transistor-level tape-outs. With significant research experience at IMEC and Fraunhofer IPMS, he has specialized in memristor-based analog computing and hardware-aware machine learning. In the group, Yukai will focus on mixed-signal neuromorphic hardware design and hardware-aware AI. By leveraging his background in analog/mixed-signal design and memory-centric architectures, he aims to bridge the gap between AI algorithms and memristive hardware implementation through cross-layer co-optimization.
