Visiting Scientist Programme – Spring 2026 Call Closed
Autumn 2026 Call to Be Announced Later in Spring
Thank you for your interest in the Memristors & Neuromorphic Computing Group at the University of Turku.
Please note that the Spring 2026 Visiting Scientist call is now closed. We are not accepting new applications for Spring / early Summer 2026 stays.
The group is currently finalizing the onboarding of the full OCEANAut team in Turku and reviewing the skillset already available within the project. Based on this internal assessment, we will relaunch the Visiting Scientist Programme later in the spring with a refined focus, clearer expectations, and a more targeted visitor profile.
Next Call
A new call is planned for research stays during the Autumn semester 2026, with visits expected to begin from August/September 2026 onward.
What to Expect in the Relaunched Call
The updated call will place stronger emphasis on:
- clearly identified project skill gaps,
- complementary expertise relevant to OCEANAut priorities,
- more targeted collaboration plans,
- and, where relevant, more senior visiting scientist profiles.
Interested in Applying?
If you are considering a future application, please monitor this page and our group updates for the Autumn 2026 Visiting Scientist call announcement.
Applications sent before the new call is published will not be processed.
