PHOTOSYN
PHOTOSYN, the Finnish Infrastructure for Photosynthesis Research, Located at BioCity and PharmaCity, forms the central platform for basic and applied studies on photosynthesis within Molecular Plant Biology at the University of Turku. It provides state‑of‑the‑art growth environments, analytical and preparative instrumentation, and organism libraries supporting the research on oxygenic photosynthetic organisms, plants, green algae and cyanobacteria. PHOTOSYN infrastructure covers different areas of research in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology and synthetic biology. PHOTOSYN infrastructure serves the plant biology and algae biotech community in Finland, and enables research collaboration with front line international academic and industrial R&Ds.
