Introduction

Welcome to the 7th  Oikos Finland Conference! Organized jointly by the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University, the conference will be held from the  15th to  the 17th of  February 2027 . 

This year’s  theme is Ecosystems past, present and future . With a broad theme we hope to welcome ecologists from various fields together to create a Wholistic understanding of how the study of ecosystems in various time periods can teach us about life on our planet. 

Registration for the conference from 1 st  October 2026 to 31 st  January 2027. Abstract Submission deadline 13 th  of November 2026.
