The blog’s main themes are Open Science –policy guidelines, OA publishing, data and methods, learning materials and teaching, infrastructures, interaction, responsible assessment of research and researchers – and impact of research. The blog supplements the UTU’s Open Science website.

Open Up! -blog is funded in August 2022 and it aims to foster a culture of Open Science.

The Open Up! -blog publishes many types of content related to the main themes, e.g. news related to research services, interviews, presentations of research projects and researchers’ articles.

The Open Up! -blog has an Editorial Board and ISSN 2814-8967.

Open Up! -blog is open for everyone interest in Open Science and impact of research and it welcomes all ideas and author candidates. Suggestions for new ideas can be sent directly to the blog editor Laura Niemi.

Open Up! -blog Editorial Board

The Editorial board for Open Up! -blog was founded in August 2022. Editorial board works in co-operation with the blog editor (Laura Niemi) and aims to develop the blog outputs and impact. Members of the editorial board are:
