Join us for the closing event of the POOL exhibition, a moment to look back on four years of scientific and artistic exploration of Finland’s temporary wetlands.

During this final seminar & workshop, researchers and artists from the POOL project will share insights from their work on vernal pools — from ecological monitoring to creative collaborations — and discuss why these fragile, seasonal wetlands play such an essential role in boreal landscapes.

Participants will also be invited to take part in a short art–science activity, exploring how observation and creativity can deepen our understanding of these overlooked ecosystems.
