Company visits for students
Join company visits organised by the Career Services.
As a student at the University of Turku you have the possibility to get to know working life in a concrete way by participating in company visits organised by the Career Services as part of the UNICOM+ project. During the visits you get to see working life up close and to create direct contacts to employers. The target of the visits is not to be recruited to the hosting companies but to become familiar with the organisations operating in the region.
What do company visits include?
- The visits are half-day events where you get to know the operations of a company or organisation, hear about their competence needs and discuss with employees.
- The visits are held in English, but they will be attended by both domestic and international students. About one week before the visit there will be a mandatory 30-minute prep session on Zoom for the visiting student group.
Who can participate?
Max. 15 students/visit, of which at least five of are domestic students. This is because one of the main ideas of the UNICOM+ project is to also strengthen the interaction between international and Finnish-speaking students. The visits are open to all degree students.

What is UNICOM+?
