Update your CV in JobTeaser and join Career Services’ CV bank
Once you have uploaded your CV to your profile, you can use it to apply for opportunities in JobTeaser. Your CV will also be saved in Career Services’ CV bank.
What is JobTeaser?
JobTeaser is a job search portal used by Finnish universities. Universities publish employers’ vacancies on the platform, particularly internship opportunities. You can also book appointments with UTU Career Services via JobTeaser.
How does the CV bank work?
Career Services uses the CV bank for employers’ recruitment assignments. We will always ask for your consent before forwarding your CV to an employer. We may also occasionally point out publicly available job postings that could be relevant to candidates in the CV bank.
Once your CV has been added to your profile, you can apply for some opportunities in JobTeaser directly using that CV. Keep your profile CV up to date, and if you apply for very different types of positions, tailor your CV for each application.
Visibility to recruiters
In JobTeaser, your profile and CV may also be visible directly to recruiters. If you do not want to be visible to recruiters, you can change this setting in your JobTeaser account settings. This is a paid feature for recruiters and is not yet widely used in Finland.
Use multiple job search channels
The CV bank is just one job search channel among others. It is a good idea to use several channels when looking for a job. Remember, for example, open applications and contacting employers directly.
