Company visits

The company visits are designed to connect university students and graduates with local employers. A visit includes a half-day visit to a local organisation, offering the possibility to learn and connect with employers in the region. The goal of the visit is not to be recruited to the company, but get to know the local labour market.

WHO CAN APPLY

All degree students can apply to participate in a company visit whenever they feel the company seems interesting to them. We ask you to not apply for all visits, but choose the ones’ that really interest you. The visits are conducted in English, but participants can be both domestic (Finnish-speaking) or international students.

HOW TO APPLY

Register by the calendar event for corresponding company visit. Application deadlines are found in the company presentations. The maximum number of participants is 15. The Career Services will confirm your participation as soon as possible after registration. We will prioritise students who have not participated in company visits before and will make sure that all visiting student groups consist of both international and domestic students.

BEFORE THE COMPANY VISIT

Once the visiting group is formed, the Career Services will organise a mandatory prep-meeting (30 minutes on Zoom) for the visiting student group approx. one week before the visit. The prep-meeting is mandatory for all students who wish to participate in the company visit. For the participants of the Multicultural Work-Life Coaching, the prep-meeting is already included in the coaching.
