Turku School of Economics Alumni Day will be held on Saturday 8th October 2022.

The main theme of the day is – FORWARD. TOGETHER!

Welcome to hear and discuss how the importance of communality is reflected in the new normal. Can we reinforce communal and participatory behavior also through compassion, or can we implement it only through data? Have new ways been learned that will permanently affect us in the future?

Riku Santala, professor of practice at Turku School of Economics, developer and specialist of business management will discuss the hybrid work, management in the post-coronavirus period and innovation with Pauli Forma, Director, Work Ability, Varma (EMBA 2017), Päivi Rytsä, President and CEO, Logomo Oy (M.Sc.) and Sallamaari Muhonen, President and CEO, Finnish Association of Electrical Engineering (EMBA 2018).

During the day, we will also hear views on the multidisciplinary nature of the Turku School of Economics and offer our alumni completely new perspectives on cross-faculty research and education. The thematic entities are further strengthening the School and creating platforms for new types of networking as well as business cooperation and the emergence of new innovations.

DL for registration is September 21th 2022. Number of seats are limited, 250 first registered are able to participate. We also offer the opportunity to follow the conversation through the stream from 3 pm to 5 pm. Those who sign up to follow the remote will receive a link via email the day before the event.

The language of the programme at 3 pm – 5 pm is English.
