Mikko Koivumäki

Mikko has been working in the Turku PET Centre since 2012. He started as a research nurse in a sport scientific research group and after a few years went back to school and got a Master of Science degree in 2020. During his studies, he worked part-time for several research groups in the PET Centre. Since 2020. He joined the Turku Alzheimer imaging lab as a research coordinator and in 2022 begun PhD studies where he examines how imaging and fluid biomarkers behave in individuals with varying genetic risk for sporadic Alzheimer´s disease.
