Riina Lehtonen

Riina’s background is in Biomedicine (BSc) and Human Neuroscience (MSc), which she studied at the University of Turku. She first joined the Turku Alzheimer Imaging group in 2019 as a research assistant while continuing her studies and has been working with the group since then. She is currently working with her PhD project, studying the association between brain synaptic density, cognitive functions and other biomarkers of early Alzheimer’s Disease in the FINGER study.
