Address and Map

 The symposium is held in the following facilities:

On Thursday and Friday, the symposium takes place at the University of Turku’s Arcanum (Arcanuminkuja 1) and Publicum (Assistentinkatu 7). The buildings are within a short walking distance of each other.

Getting around in Turku

You can travel to Turku by bus, train, car, airplane, or ferry.

By bus

Those arriving by bus should check if the bus stops at the university or by the cathedral.

Föli organises the public transport in the Turku region. You can purchase single tickets (€3) with contactless payment on the buses. The buses also accept cash, but please note that a single ticket is €4 when paying in cash. The selection also includes day tickets (€8), among other things. By downloading the Föli app, you can buy tickets on mobile.

The nearest bus stop to Arcanum and Publicum is the University’s stop on Hämeenkatu.

The nearest bus stop to Arken is the stop by the cathedral.

By train

There are three railway stations in Turku: the main station, Kupittaa, and Turku Harbor. Due to a rail project, Kupittaa station will serve as a temporary terminus for trains arriving from Helsinki until the end of 2024.

By car

Parking on the University of Turku campus is subject to a charge from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. During other times, university parking areas are free to use, except for personal spaces reserved for those who have purchased a spot. There are also hourly charged parking spaces available for short-term parking, intended for general use. Payment for parking is made via mobile payment (eParking, EasyPark, and ParkMan).

The Åbo Akademi University campus has a limited number of parking spaces which are also subject to a charge.
