Data workshop

Before the Finnish Conference of Linguistics, there will be a workshop on Wednesday 11 May on automatic data processing and visualization. The organizer of the workshop is our keynote speaker Bodo Winter. The description of the workshop can be found below. The workshop in English is free of charge for the participants of the conference but attendance requires a computer with R software environment. Instructions for downloading the programs will be sent to the participants beforehand. The workshop is organized in collaboration with Langnet.

Data wrangling and data viz with R and the tidyverse 

This workshop teaches students how to use the tidyverse, R markdowns, and the ggplot2 package for effective data wrangling and data visualization. The workshop will be mostly hands-on, with materials and installation instructions provided two weeks before.
