Would you like to make sure your CV is clear and easy to read? Or are you wondering whether your skills come across well enough in your job application or LinkedIn profile? At the CV clinic, you will receive personal feedback and practical tips for your job search.
CV clinic sessions are always individual online meetings with a counsellor from the Career Services.
Booking a CV clinic appointment
Log in to JobTeaser at utu.jobteaser.com using your UTU credentials. Go to the Toolbox section at the top, select Appointments and select CV clinic as the appointment type.
When booking, attach your CV, job application or link to your LinkedIn profile. Please note that if you need feedback on more than one of these documents, you need to book a separate time for each.

What is a CV clinic?
A CV clinic is a personal 20-minute online meeting with a career services expert. During the meeting, you will receive feedback and practical tips to help you polish your CV, job application or LinkedIn profile.
A CV clinic is an easy and approachable way to get support that fits your situation, whether you are applying for a summer job, an internship or a job in your field.
Who are the CV clinics for?
CV clinic appointments are available to University of Turku students and alumni.
What happens at a CV clinic?
A CV clinic is a 20-minute online meeting focusing on one topic at a time:
- CV
- job application
- LinkedIn profile
You will receive expert feedback and support, for example on what to highlight and what you can leave out. You can also ask your own questions.
Where and when are CV clinics held?
CV clinics are available year-round as pre-booked online appointments via Zoom or Teams. You will receive the meeting link by email after booking via JobTeaser.
What should I do before the CV clinic?
You will get the most out of the meeting if you prepare a little in advance:
- Update your CV, job application or LinkedIn profile as far as possible. You can also use the tips in our materials bank.
- Attach your CV or job application to your booking, or add a link to your LinkedIn profile.
- Think of 1-3 questions you would especially like help with.
If you would like feedback on a job application, it is also a good idea to include the job advertisement (if still available) or a short description of the role and the required skills.
When booking, you can also mention what you are applying for, for example a summer job, a part-time job, an internship or a job in your field.
How can I book an appointment?
Book an appointment via JobTeaser. You can find the booking tool under Toolbox in the top menu. Log in to JobTeaser with your UTU credentials.
In summer (July-August), appointments are not booked in JobTeaser. Instead, please book by email at rekry@utu.fi. Attach the CV or job application you would like feedback on, or include a link to your LinkedIn profile.
Please note that in one CV clinic appointment we can review one item at a time.
What if I want feedback on both my CV and my job application or LinkedIn profile?
Please book a separate appointment or back-to-back appointments. One 20-minute slot is intended for one topic.
