New lab members: Emil Aalto-Setälä and Hanifi Arslan

We are excited to start the year by welcoming new members to the lab. Hanifi Arslan, with his background in pharmacy, aims to identify small-molecule coumpounds to inhibit mRNP biogenesis factors. Emil is a PhD student who will be spending 50% of his time in our lab, using his skills in single-molecule imaging to work out mechanistic details of key mRNP biogenesis steps.
