We are based in Turku – a beautiful and old city (est. 1229) located on the South-West coast of Finland. Over 40 000 students in two universities maintain a lively and dynamic atmosphere. Just nearby three national parks and the labyrinthine archipelago offer many recreational activities. Finland is renowned for its high levels of social well-being, equality, and healthy work-life balance, which have resulted in its people being ranked as the world’s happiest. Our lab is located in the Biocity campus – a hub for life science and biomedical research.
