The first Student Mobility Call has opened

The first student mobility Call is now open. The first mobility and related student project work will be hosted by the University of Turku in Finland and it is themed “Sustainable Seas”. The selected students will form a transnational team which will work online during February to April and finally, in the end of May 2023, gather together at the campus of the University of Turku and travel to the island of Seili in the beautiful Turku archipelago. The island of Seili, known for its rich history of permanent human habitation dating back to medieval times, also hosts the Archipelago Research Institute of the University of Turku.

During four online sessions, the student team will delve into different aspects of sustainability of sea environments. The sessions will be facilitated by University of Turku and they will include expert talks. When in Turku and Seili, the team will plan and implement an Environmental Education activity of their own choice.

The grant will cover travelling and accommodation costs. The Call is open until 2 December 2022 and further information can be found on the Student mobility page.
