Applying directly to DP1

  • It is possible for a candidate to apply directly to the DP1, without the preceding pre- DP year.
  • Every application is considered individually.
  • The academic skills of the applicants will be tested.
  • The student is expected to have studied in an English medium program prior to the application.
  • Since admission is based on academic achievements, the latest school reports must be attached to the online application.
  • Please note that the school can only accept students who live in one of the following municipalities: Turku, Kaarina, Raisio, Naantali, Paimio. Lieto, Masku, Piikkiö or Rymättylä.

Application

The online application form will open on January 16 and close on March 17 at 4 p.m.

We require official, certified English translations of educational certificates.

If you have applied by the deadline and are eligible, you will be invited to an entrance exam.

We will only process applications that have been completed correctly.

  • The entrance exams are held on April 20-21 2026 in each chosen subject in Turun normaalikoulu, Annikanpolku 9, Turku, Finland.
