Intelligent Health

The purpose of the Intelligent Health research programme is to foster human intelligence, human-centred action, and digital and social innovations to create value for health. Here, intelligence refers both to the knowledge, expertise, and actions of people and to the effective use of digital technologies and solutions. We adopt a strong stakeholder-centred approach and conduct research together with patients, families, professionals, healthcare organisations, and enterprises, both nationally and internationally.

The Intelligent Health research programme is organised into three main branches focusing on digital innovations for health, child and adolescent health, and perinatal, family, and early-life health. These branches are closely interconnected and frequently collaborate, recognising that advances in health often emerge from the integration of diverse forms of expertise, innovation, and action.
