Determinants of gut health: studies on gut microbiota and gut mucus properties and function

PhD research aims to investigate how dietary interventions, obesity, and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) affect gut health as characterized by the gut microbiota, gut microbial metabolites and gut mucus composition and function during pregnancy.
