Ruokalapalvelumme ovat rajoitetusti tarjolla

Aseman ruokalassa on henkilöstövajeen takia tarjolla vain aamiainen ja lounas arkisin 31.8. asti. Ruokalamme on suljettu 16.6.-4.7. Kenttäkurssien palveluista sovitaan tarvittaessa erikseen. Majoittuvien vieraiden käytössä on hyvin varusteltuja yhteiskeittiöitä.

Etsimme osa-aikaista siivoojaa 1.9. lähtien.

Ohjeita koronavirustilanteessa

Kevon tutkimusasema on avoinna koronavirustilanne huomioiden. Seuraamme Lapin alueellisia suosituksia ja rajoituksia sekä Turun yliopiston ohjeita koronavirustilanteessa. Huomioithan vierailua suunnitellessasi, että koronatilanne voi aiheuttaa nopeitakin muutoksia saatavilla oleviin palveluihin.

Noudata turvaohjeita aseman tiloissa:

  • vältä tarpeettomia lähikontakteja. Voit käyttää kasvomaskia oman harkintasi mukaan esimerkiksi niissä tilanteissa, joissa et voi välttää lähikontakteja.
  • pese kädet usein ja muista yskiä oikein; ethän tule asemalle sairaana

Jos epäilet saaneesi koronatartunnan, tee koronan kotitesti. Jos saat positiivisen testituloksen, jää omaehtoiseen viiden vuorokauden eristykseen. Kerrothan tartunnasta henkilökunnalle, jotta voimme huomioida tilanteen majoitusjärjestelyissä.

Kiinteistöjen korjaustyöt alkavat tänä vuonna

Vuosien 2022-23 aikana asemalla tehdään kiinteistöjen korjaustöitä, jotka vaikuttavat käytettävissä oleviin tiloihin sekä majoituksen että tutkimuksen osalta. Muutokset ovat mahdollisia lyhyelläkin varoitusajalla. Pahoittelemme tästä aiheutuvia häiriöitä!

Limitations to our services during the summer season 2022

We are unfortunately not able to offer full-board meals at the moment due to staff shortages. Lunch is served from Monday to Friday at 12-12.45. Our canteen is closed 16.6.-4.7. There are communal kitchens at the guests’ disposal where meals can be prepared.

Instructions on coronavirus situation

Kevo research station is open for research and teaching. All work requiring physical presence at the station is done so that safety measures are followed and contact to other people is minimised. Work is conducted remotely whenever possible. Please be prepared to changes in the availability of our services due to the coronavirus situation.

Using the facilities requires permission, so please contact us before arrival.
Please send the messages concerning research to kevo@utu.fi and the messages concerning accommodation at the station to reservations-kevo@utu.fi.

Follow the safety measures:

  • it is no longer required to wear a mask in the University facilities, everyone can still continue to wear a mask according to their own discretion, for example, in indoor spaces where it is difficult to avoid close contacts.
  • avoid unnecessary close contacts, wash your hands and remember to cough correctly

If you suspect you have been infected with COVID-19, please take a COVID-19 home test and, having obtained a positive result, remain isolated for a period of five days. The station staff will help you to rearrange your accommodation if needed.

If you get a positive result from COVID-19 test, stay at home for five days calculated from the beginning of the symptoms. People who have the virus are not isolated, but are treated in accordance with normal sick leave practices.

Continue to maintain safe distancing of at least 2 metres, take care of hand and cough hygiene and the use of a face mask in all public indoor areas and on public transport where safe distancing cannot be adhered to.

Information for visitors coming from abroad

Visitors arriving from abroad have to observe the authorities’ restrictions and instructions on travel and be prepared to, for example, work or study remotely after entering the country and before arriving at the station. Station facilities can not be used for quarantine. Please arrive at the station only after the quarantine period and when all necessary health checks are completed.

If you are travelling to Finland, use the FINENTRY service.

Travel and visits between the University and those countries to which the Finnish authorities do not apply restrictions are permitted, and there is no need to observe quarantine-like arrangements. (Finnish Government: Restrictions during the coronavirus epidemic)
