C. G. E. Mannerheim (1867-1951) is known everywhere as the Marshal of Finland, but he was also e.g. explorer, author, photographer and big game hunter. This book introduces the vehicles associated with his life and travels. He owned several cars both in his possession and for official use. During the war, he traveled 80,000 kilometers on a train reserved for his own use. Mannerheim conducted his wartime flights on a Douglas DC-2 transport aircraft called Hanssin-Jukka. Of the Finnish Marshal’s “vehicles”, however, his last equestrian horse, Käthy, is probably best remembered by people and is also included in the book.
